Cultural cooperation Romania - Ukraine. From project ideas to successful partnerships

06 iunie 2018

How can cultural organisations from Romania and Ukraine work together?
How can we build successful partnerships and applications for funding?
What are the Creative Europe funding opportunities available for cultural organisations from both countries interested to develop joint initiatives?
What best practices can we look at to inspire us to develop future cooperation projects?

These are some of the essential questions we will focus on during the information and networking event organised by the Creative Europe Desks in Romania and Ukraine, in collaboration with Bucovina Muzeum in Suceava and the Regional Office for Cross-Border Cooperation Romania – Ukraine.

The aim of the meeting is to encourage cultural operators from both countries to find common points of interest, cooperate and access together Creative Europe’s funding this year.

The event has two main dimensions: an information one and a networking/ project pitching one. During the information part, there will be presentations of funding opportunities, examples of selected cooperation projects, as well as recommendations about how to develop sustainable partnerships and successful projects. During the networking and pitching part, organisations looking for trans-national partners will make short presentations of their cooperation ideas (submitted in advance, see the form below) and then further discuss them with other participants interested in submitting a joint Creative Europe application later this year.

The event will take place at Bucovina Museum in Suceava (no 33 Ștefan cel Mare). There will be consecutive translation Romanian-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Romanian for the general information part of the event. However, please note that the pitching parts will be exclusively in English, so that participants interested in cooperation are able to further negotiate partnerships themselves and understand each other during the project implementation.

There is no participation fee for this meeting, but all those planning to attend will have to cover their own travel and accomodation costs.

If you want to join this event, please fill in the
online registration form. If you want to find project partners at this meeting, please also fill in the partner search form. You are free to send us this partner search form even if you cannot attend the meeting (we will present it on your behalf). The deadline for registrations and, if the case, for sending us the partner search form is 22 June.

The agenda of the event is available here.
